Jane Snyder

Mrs. Jane Cox Snyder, 98, of Winston-Salem passed away on June 5, 2022. She was born on December 30, 1923, to Annie Huffman Cox and James Jasper Cox. Jane was married to Griffith Snyder for 13 years and she retired from R.J. Reynolds in 1981. She was preceded in death by her brothers Henry Cox, Clarence Cox, Paul Cox, Hortis Cox, Buck Cox, Russell Cox, half-brother Glenn Huffman, and her two sisters Grace Cox Hege and Kate Cox Hiatt. Jane also had several nieces and nephews. She was a devout member of Home Moravian Church and loved cats. A visitation will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Thursday June 9, 2022, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Friday June 10, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with the Rt. Rev. Graham Rights officiating. Memorials can be made to hospice or to a charity of choice.
