Jane Rosenquist

Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Whiteheart Rosenquist, 78, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Forsyth Co. on April 22, 1939, the first child of Sidney and Inez Seivers Whiteheart. Jane attended Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and along with her husband they operated HGR Compressor Service. She came to know her Lord and Savior at the age of 23 and was baptized at Quaker Gap Baptist Church. It was her desire that everyone at her service would make sure that they have made that decision, she made many years ago. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Winburn Young. Surviving to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 26 years, Hal Rosenquist; her daughter, Terri Bennett (Ollie Ray); two sons, Craig Young (Trina) and Chad Young; two grandchildren, Zackary and Connor Young; two sisters, Elaine Whiteheart and Gail Dubose (Ronnie); one brother, Gerald Whiteheart; and several nieces and nephews. Jane is also survived by her special little dog, Laney, who she loved and cherished. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Pete King and Rev. Ron Chamblin officiating. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017. Jane would like to recognize, Jean Johnston of Henrico, VA, who sent her an encouraging card and message every week of her long battle. Jane's family would like to thank the staff of Woltz Hospice Home for the love and care shown Jane in her time of need.
