Mrs. Jane Pardue Miller, 83, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully in her home July 15th, 2022. She was born in Winston-Salem on November 3, 1938, to the late Garvey Wilson Pardue and Mary Kathleen Parude.
She graduated from Reynolds High School in 1957 and went on to work at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco for 33 years until her retirement in 1991. While working at RJR, she met and married her beloved husband, William “Bill” Gray Miller, in 1961. Just recently they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
Jane enjoyed Wake Forest Basketball, traveling, cooking, and volunteering at Forsyth Hospital. She was a faithful member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church and active in Women’s Circle #2.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; a sister, Patricia Ann Speas of Rural Hall; a brother, Gary Wilson Pardue (Lena) of Supply, NC; a sister-in-law, Shirley Shell Butt of Kernersville; and aunt, Jackie Buchanan of Davidson, NC.
The family would like to give many thanks to Medi Home Health and their hospice nurses.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
