Jane Todd Brinkley

Jane Todd Brinkley, 75, passed on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 21, 1940 to the late George Calvin Todd and Doris burke Todd. She attended Oak Forest United Methodist Church and was very active in many roles (Pianist, Choir, Trustee, ASP (Bus Driver), Helping Hands and others). She had a deceased brother, Jack Todd. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Brinkley; two sons, Bobby Joe Reed, Jr.(Michele) and Calvin Todd Reed (Stacey); one brother, Chris Todd; one sister, June Hayth (Carl); grandchildren, Jamie Oswell (Josh), Dustin Reed, Carson Reed and MacKenzie Boyles; and great grandson, Cooper Oswell. She was very active in crafting, NASCAR Racing and the very proud, loving ""Mother"" of Buffie and Scarlette (Toy Poodles). The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Forsyth Medical Center for their care. Services to be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Oak Forest United Methodist Church, 11461 Old Hwy 52 (Midway). Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or Oak Forest United Methodist Church, (Helping Hands),11462 Old Hwy 52, Winston-Salem, NC.
