Ms. Jamie Rosanna Wheeler, 43, of Whitsett, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was born in Forsyth County on March 13, 1977 to James William and Ann Snyder Wheeler. Jamie graduated from Parkland High School, where she was a cheerleader and later, she attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Jamie was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and helped manage a fan club for them. She was very dedicated to her daughter. Jamie loved everyone, especially her family. She was a very kind and loving person and will be missed by all.

Jamie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert Melvin and Mary Rose James Snyder, and her paternal grandparents, G. W. Jack and Anna Stern Williamson Wheeler. In addition to her parents, Jamie is survived by her daughter, Savannah Rose Slade; sister, Tammy Wheeler Turner and husband Kevin; niece, Courtney Turner Keaton and husband Justin; great-nephew, Wyatt Keaton; great-niece, Adelaide Keaton; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Parklawn Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Mary Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington VA 22202.
