James Jimmy R. Yuenger

James R. Yuenger (Jimmy) 80 of Winston Salem passed away peacefully Tuesday February 24, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 10, 1928 in Portsmouth Ohio to Raymond and Pauline Yuenger. Surviving are his children Lisa Houston and husband Terry, Neil Yuenger and wife Lisa, Paula Willis, Clay Yuenger, David Yuenger and partner Sean Mckillop, Cindy Davis and Tina Hixon and husband Keith. He has 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and many good friends. Jimmy had a passion for music and traveling and for his favorite cat, ""Hobbs"". There will be a private military memorial service at Arlington National Cemetery on April 16. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem NC 27103. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they showed our family, as well as Dr. Tom Grote and staff and Dr. Amy Sapp and staff.
