James Harvey Wright

James Harvey Wright, 58, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. James was born on June 27, 1953 in Richmond Co., NC. He was employed at Sonoco Corrflex (formally Chesapeake Display & Packaging) for 27 years. Surviving are his wife, Jeannine, of Statesville; three sons, Jonathan (wife, Hannah) of Winston Salem, Jacob (wife Kim) of Lewisville, Joshua (fiancé Sylvia) of Statesville; daughter, Rebekah (husband, Eric) of Statesville; his girlfriend Ms. Carolyn Cecil of Patrick Springs, VA.; Three grandsons, Emerson, Samuel and Benjamin, and one granddaughter Hayden. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with family friend Rev. Joel Johnson officiating. A private burial for immediate family will follow at a later time so that James can be laid to rest with his family in Richmond Co. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
