James Jefferson Womack

Mr. James Jefferson Womack, age 89 of Trinity, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at his home. He was born May 19, 1920 in Georgia to the late Henry and Pauline Taylor Womack. Mr. Womack served in the U.S. Army during WWII and had retired from Forsyth Medical Center serving in the Maintenance Department. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Rose Martin. Surviving are three daughters, Linda Lackey and husband James of Trinity, Vickie Barnes of Archdale and Kyleen Blalock and husband Tom of Kernersville; one son, Bruce Womack and wife Belinda of Raleigh; sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a special friend, Nell Hoover. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Pastor Jerry Martin. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
