James Michael White

Mr. James Michael White, 54, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 15, 1958 in Laurens County, GA to Walter Delano and Betty Smith White. Mr. White was of the Baptist faith. He loved photography, computers and nature. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are a daughter, Christina M. White of Atlanta, GA; a son, James Craig White and wife Amanda of Atlanta, GA; his mother, Betty Jean Lamb of Walkertown; four grandchildren; a sister, Stacey Mabe and husband Phillip of Walkertown; two brothers, Walter White and wife Amy of Walnut Cove and Davis Lamb of Altamonte Springs, FL; several nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend, Mark T. Smith of Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 25 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A private service will be held at a later date.
