James Edward Trueblood

Kernersville - Mr. James Edward Trueblood, 91, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1922 in Perquimans Co. to the late James Shannonhouse and Evie Burgess Trueblood. James was a member of Kernersville Wesleyan Church, he loved to hunt and garden. He was preceded in death by his loving wife; Martha West Trueblood, and his nine other brothers and sisters.

Surviving are; a son Stephen Trueblood and wife Shirley, two grandsons; Michael Trueblood, and Alexander Grant, a great grandson; Avan Neve, a sister; Margaret Baines, and a niece; Bonnie Knutson.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Phil Hulen and Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday evening, April 7, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
