James T. "Jim" Lynch

Mr. James T. Lynch “Jim” of Winston-Salem passed away on November 24, 2023. He was born in Pilot Mountain, NC to James Walter Lynch and Mattie Frye Lynch on April 24, 1923. Living to be 100 years old, married to his sweetheart Jenny for 73 years, his life was full of joy. An electrician by trade, he could repair or build anything; always willing to help someone at their home with a “fix it” project. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his 5 siblings. Jim was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church and a proud World War II veteran. He enjoyed the friends and family who called, sent cards, and visited often, always making him feel special. His daughter, Patti Ann Lynch and husband, Scott Lewis cherish the wonderful memories and times spent with him and will always be so very thankful for the love and attention he was given by his devoted caregivers, as well as the Trellis Care team, which enabled him to stay at his home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Trellis Supportive Care/Hospice of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
