James Samuel Jackson, Jr.

Mr. James Samuel Jackson, Jr., 73, passed away at his home on September 4, 2023. He was born on April 7, 1950, to the late James Samuel Jackson and Alice Marie Messick in Forsyth County, NC. James was a proud member of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. After his time in the military, he worked for Toyota for 30 years. Along with his parents James was preceded in death by his sister Carla Steptoe. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Alice (Rebecca) Jackson; daughter Miranda Wall; grandchildren Sierra Bauguess and Collin Bauguess; niece Emree Steptoe; nephew Gabriel Steptoe; and his canine best friend Alice Marie (Allie). A visitation will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek on Saturday September 9, 2023, from 2:00-4:00pm.
