James “Buddy” Donald Rudd

GREENSBORO - James ""Buddy"" Donald Rudd, 77, died Saturday January 21, 2012 at The Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. He was born May 8, 1934, in Guilford County to the late Albert H. Rudd Jr. and Dorothy Wilson Rudd (Rumpf). James was a charter member of Lutheran Church of Our Father. He loved meeting people, playing golf and shopping. Surviving are two aunts, Edith W. Sink and Helen W. Andrews, both of Greensboro; numerous cousins and extended family. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Green Hill Cemetery in Greensboro with Pastor Mike Hoffmann officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to James' ""family"" at St. Gale's Manor, The Randolph Hospice House, Thomasville Medical Center and Chasity Clapp of the ARC of NC Life Guardianship.
