ROYALL In Loving Memory of Mr. James Joseph Royall, Jr. a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and friend. Mr. James Joseph Royall, Jr., 67 of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. James was born in Surry County on August 22, 1941 the son of the late James Joseph and Jennie Lucille Hudspeth Royall. He was of the Baptist Faith. James had been a truck driver with Merita Bakery with 32 years of service, and was a Veteran of the U S Army. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a niece Renee Eidson. Surviving is his wife of 45 years Vickie Gaster Royall of the home, a son James Christopher Royall and wife Crystal of Walkertown, two grandsons Justyn Royall and Tyler Wilson. One brother Jeffery L. Royall and four sisters Nancy R. Bolden and husband Larry and Rebecca R. Mabe and husband Charles all of Walkertown, Ann R. Steelman and fiancé© Mike Collins of Arcadia and Janice R. Hawks and husband Michael of Yadkinville and a number of nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Rev. Glenn Murphy officiating. The Royall family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
