James Perry Richardson

Mr. James Perry Richardson, 87, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born October 6, 1926 in Richland County, S.C. to Perry Egbert and Eva Amick Richardson. He was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church and Enterprise Masonic Lodge #752. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie F. Richardson, a brother, Carl R. Richardson and a sister, Catherine R. Faust. Surviving are two daughters, Paulette Palmer (Ronnie) of Lewisville, Rita Bailey (Charles) of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Keith E. Palmer of Miami, Fl., Kim Shouse (William) ""Ernie"" of Winston-Salem; three great grandchildren, Jonah, Gabriel and Oliver Shouse; and a brother, Gene A. Richardson (Beth), of Lawrenceville, GA., and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Augsburg Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Ronald A. Rinn and Pastor Daniel Pugh officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow at 1:00 PM in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Augsburg Lutheran Church Building Fund, 845 W. Fifth Street, W-S, N.C. or the Masonic Foundation.
