James Milton Redmon

Kernersville - Mr. James Milton Redmon passed away, Friday April 17, 2015 at The Brian Center in Winston Salem. He was born November 4, 1928 in Stokes Co. to the late Claudia A. Tuttle and Joe C. Redmon. Mr. Redmon was a member of First Christian Church in Kernersville. He retired from Piedmont and US Air with over 30 years of service. Mr. Redmon was preceded in death by his six brothers and five sisters.

Surviving are; a daughter, Janice Lee Lane and husband Rick, two grandsons, Scott Lane and Davis Lane, a great granddaughter, Tori Lane, a great grandson, Caelan Lane, a special niece and nephew, Linda K. Morgan, and, Dean Harger, many other nieces and nephews, and a couple very special friends, Lois Allen, and Judith Homer.


A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 12:45 PM prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.
