James Roy 'J.R.' Perrine

KERNERSVILLE - James Roy ""J.R."" Perrine, 67, a loving husband, father and grandpa passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to the late Paul Boone and Virginia Carr Perrine. JR attended Kernersville Wesleyan Church. He was a United States Army Veteran. And he was always willing to help others; he loved to make people laugh. Surviving are his wife Becky Schmidt Perrine of the home; son, Jimmy Perrine and wife, Melanie of Kernersville; daughter, Tracy Hamby and husband, Duane of Trinity; five grandchildren, Jessica, Alora, Jason, Jimmy and Alesha; one sister, Judy Lambert of Akron, Ohio and her children, Paula, Kim, Steph, and Stevie; sister-in-law, Carol Reichart and husband, Jim of Thomasville and their children, Jimmy and Kelly; and a very special family friend, Helen Kelly. A Celebration of Life Service to honor JR, with military honors will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Phil Hulen officiating.
