James Roy 'J.R.' Perrine

KERNERSVILLE - James Roy ""J.R."" Perrine, 67, a loving husband, father and grandpa passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to the late Paul Boone and Virginia Carr Perrine. JR attended Kernersville Wesleyan Church. He was a United States Army Veteran. And he was always willing to help others; he loved to make people laugh. Surviving are his wife Becky Schmidt Perrine of the home; son, Jimmy Perrine and wife, Melanie of Kernersville; daughter, Tracy Hamby and husband, Duane of Trinity; five grandchildren, Jessica, Alora, Jason, Jimmy and Alesha; one sister, Judy Lambert of Akron, Ohio and her children, Paula, Kim, Steph, and Stevie; sister-in-law, Carol Reichart and husband, Jim of Thomasville and their children, Jimmy and Kelly; and a very special family friend, Helen Kelly. A Celebration of Life Service to honor JR, with military honors will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Phil Hulen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Kernersville Wesleyan Church Benevolence Fund, 930 N. Main St., Kernersville, NC 27284.
