James Walter Needham

Greensboro - James Walter Needham, 83, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. He was born November 25, 1927 in Surry Co. to the late James Erastus and Salley Tilley Needham.

Mr. Needham retired from Roadway with 30 years of driving accident free.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Needham.

Surviving are his son, James Eugene Needham; two sisters, Margaret Smith and husband, Harvey, Shirley Simpson and husband, Jack; two brothers, Warren Needham and wife, Anne, and Joseph Needham and wife, Lucy.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, April 22, 2011 at Northwest Baptist Church in Greensboro with Dr. R.D. Hamann officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
