Mr. James ""Jim"" L. Morris, 70, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born December 12, 1940 in Cumberland, KY to Elmer M. and Margaret Smith Morris. Mr. Morris was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed painting and playing the guitar. He was a loving husband, father and Pa Pa who enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Peggy Morris; one daughter, Nichelle Rizk and husband Jack of Lexington; two grandchildren, Madeline Elizabeth Rizk and Laura Catherine Rizk; three brothers, Charles, Daniel and Harry; four sisters, Billie, Elinor, Janice and Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21st at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Elder Ed Clement officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
