James Pierpont Morgan, Jr.

James Pierpont Morgan, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2013 at Carolinas Hospital in Mullins, SC. He was born July 28, 1945 in Forsyth County, NC to James P. Morgan, Sr. and Charlotte McGee Morgan. J.P. was passionate about every type of music. J.P. was a fun person who was full of life. He took great pleasure in building things and was always involved in a project. Survivors include his daughter, Gina Kerr (William); son, James P. Morgan, III; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Jane George; two nieces; two nephews; and a special great niece. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
