Mr. James ""Sherman"" Mayberry, 58 of Pfafftown, NC, a loving father, grandfather and brother,"" a man who asked for very little but gave much,"" passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Mayberry was born May 19, 1951 in Forsyth County to the late Ray Junior Mayberry and Edith Anders Mayberry. He was a member of Robinhood Road Baptist Church and worked for 41 years with the Dize Company. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Ronnie Lee Mayberry. Surviving are two sons; Wesley Mayberry ( Misty Shropshire) of the home, Michael Mayberry ( Kimberly Goins) of Lewisville, NC; a grandson; Christopher Mayberry; the love of his life; Anne Brannock Brown of Clemmons, NC; three brothers; R.E. (Colene) Mayberry of Mocksville, NC, David (Gracie) Mayberry of Lewisville, NC, Eddie (Mary Ann) Mayberry of Tobaccoville, NC, five sisters; Shirley Joyner of Lewisville, Linda (Danny) Alexander of Winston-Salem, NC, Gail (Scott) Knowles of Lewisville, NC, Cindy (Ronnie) Bailey of Galax Va., and Treasa (Gary) Templeton of Winston-Salem, NC. The Mayberry Family will receive friends from 7-9:00 pm Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel and at all other times at 6480 Doral Drive in Tobaccoville. The Funeral Service will be conducted 4:00 pm Wednesday, August 26 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by the Rev. John Hackworth and Pastor Wayne Swisher. Burial will follow in the Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
