James Riley Lineberry

Mr. James Riley Lineberry Sr., 59, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born on February 21, 1952 in Lee Co., NC. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. He loved to hunt and fish and play with his dogs, Foxy and Cookie. James was preceded in death by his father, Odell Lineberry and a brother, Roger Lineberry. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cleo Spainhour Lineberry of the home, four children, Tammy Spainhour (Jason) of King, Wayne Shelton Jr. (Shannon) of King, Rebecca Shelton of King and James Lineberry Jr. (Megan) of Tobaccoville, 14 grandchildren with one on the way, his mother, Bevie Hope Lineberry of East Bend, a sister, Rebecca Spicer of East Bend, four brothers, Leon Lineberry (Mary) of Booneville, Tom Lineberry (Lisa) of Elkin, Ricky Lineberry (Jennifer) of Winston-Salem and Robert Lineberry of East Bend and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Sam Jones officiating. The family will receive friends this evening Friday, February 3, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
