Lewis- Mr. James ""Jim"" Charles Lewis, 51, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on June 24, 2009. He was born in Forsyth County to the late Howell J. Lewis, Sr. and Irene Jones Lewis. Jim attended Pine Chapel Moravian Church as a child. He served in the U.S. Army and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jim worked for Pike Electric for over 25 years. He was always known for the love he shared with his family and friends. He is survived by his brother, Jack Lewis and wife, Vicky of Winston-Salem; a nephew, Mark Lewis and wife, Becky of Oklahoma; two nieces, Christy Rominger and husband, Lance and Kimberly Lewis, both of Winston-Salem; two great nephews, Tyler Rominger and Connor Lewis; a great-niece, Kyra Lewis; two aunts, Hilda Kiger of Rural Hall and Janet Heath of Kernersville; and several special friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. There is no stated visitation.
