James Reginald Reggie" Kiser

Mr. James Reginald ""Reggie"" Kiser, 75, went home to be with the Lord during the early morning hours of January 26, 2011. He was born in Stokes Co. on September 24, 1935 the son of the late Curley ""Buck"" Kiser and Trula Tuttle Kiser. He was a member of Marshall Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher, deacon and choir member for many years. He loved golf and was a member of Grandview Golf Association for a number of years. He also served as a member of the Sertoma Club. Mr. Kiser worked in printing all of his life with Winston Printing, Hunter Publishing, Delmar Publishing and retired from Wentworth Printing in 2005. Mr. Kiser was a loving husband, dad, papaw and great-grandpa. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Doris, daughters Debbie Jones (Delmer) of King, Dawn Sides (Mike) of Orlando, FL and Amy Kiser of Durham, grandchildren, Carrie Smith (Dana), Kevin Jones (Casey), Caleb Sides, Hannah Sides, Abigail Sides and Timothy Sides and great grandchildren, Landon and Madelyn Hall. Funeral services for Mr. Kiser will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Marshall Baptist Church with Rev. John Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 this evening Friday, January 28, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
