Mr. James Richard Keith, 88, of Winston-Salem, passed away on April 25, 2017 at Trinity Elms. Mr. Keith was born on June 19, 1928 in Muskegon County, Michigan to Marion Perry and Gladys Pearl Lewis Keith. He was a member of Ardmore Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was retired from the Winston-Salem Journal with 32 years of loyal service. But most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Walker Keith and daughter, Linda Keith Ray. He is survived by two sons, Randall J. Keith of San Diego, California and Wayne Richard Keith and Wife Robin of Ridgefield, Washington; one granddaughter, Kaitlin Forsyth and husband Michael of Kernersville; two great grandchildren, Haley and Cooper Forsyth. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2017, at Ardmore Baptist Church with Rev. Christa Warise and Dr. Don Gordon officiating. Inurnment will be held at the church columbarium. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
