James Holland Jones

Mr. James Holland Jones, 90, passed away November 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 5, 1924 in Forsyth County to the late Christian David Jones and Flossie Brewer Jones. He was a World War II veteran and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 30 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mozelle Parrish Jones; two sons, David Jones and wife Pam, and Ronnie Jones and wife Faye; a brother, Richard Jones and wife Wilma Lee. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tim Sapp officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
