James Holloman

James Flanagan Holloman (Jim) , born October 6, 1929, passed away on December 24, 2015. Jim lived life to it's fullest embracing each day with a smile. He was an avid sports player, coach, and fan. Jim never met a stranger. He was retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company, a charter member of the Konnoak Hills Lions Club and a member of Central Terrace United Methodist Church. Above all, he loved and cared for his family with his whole heart.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, the love of his life Frances D. Holloman, a son Larry D. (Kathy) Holloman, a daughter Lindy (Todd) Kiger, three grandsons Travis (Beth) Holloman, Matthew (Mary) Holloman, and Jamie Oliver, and three great grandsons Jaxon, Noah and Benjamin Holloman.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service.
