James Stephen Hodges

Mr. James Stephen Hodges, 62, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 17, 1948 in Forsyth County to Steve and Lelia Robertson Hodges. Mr. Hodges was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. He worked at the family restaurant, Steve's Italia, until it closed in 1979. He was employed by Dell, Inc. in Kernersville, NC. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Eleni Kakouras Hodges. Surviving him are his mother; two sons, Steven of Cary and George and wife Beth of Winston-Salem; a grandson, Stavros Hodges. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with a Trisagon service 7:00 pm Monday, June 21. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the church with Father Thomas Guerry officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
