James Hayes, Jr.

Mr. James Hill Hayes, Jr., 81, of Winston-Salem, went on to be with the Lord on February 8, 2018. James was born on April 16, 1936 in Chatham County, NC to James Hill Hayes, Sr., and Madge Hill Hayes. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 32 years of loyal service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky and Chance Hayes. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara Hayes; his daughter, Robin Hamilton of New York, NY; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon, Monday, February 12, 2018, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with Father Kurt Fohn officiating. Interment will follow at New Garden Friends Meeting Cemetery.
