James Henry Fulp, Jr.

Sherrills Ford- James Henry Fulp, Jr., 73, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 26, 1937 in Forsyth Co. to the late James Henry Fulp, Sr. and Gladys Marshall Fulp. Mr. Fulp was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church in Terrell, NC and was trained in the Stephen Ministry. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. in 1990. James was a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Master of the Kernersville Masonic Lodge #669 AF he also was a Shriner of the Oasis Temple. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Fulp. Surviving are his wife, Betty Elliott Fulp of the home; his daughter, Sherry Stockton of Chapel Hill; his son, Jeffrey Fulp and wife, Cindy of Kernersville; four grandchildren, Brian, Jason, and Matthew Fulp, and Ellie Stockton; one brother, Jerry Fulp and wife, Kay of Germanton; and four sisters, Dianne Bullin and husband, Phil of Walnut Cove, Joan Fulp and husband, Lee Allen of El Granada, CA, Patricia Wood and husband, Gary of Advance, and Pamela Fulp of Winston Salem. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 02, 2010 at Faith Assembly of God in Kernersville with Dr. Robert Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-9:00 p.m. Friday, October 01, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. Memorials may be made to either, Rehobeth United Methodist Church, PO Box 356, Terrell, NC 28682 or Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605 .
