James Franklin Jackson

Mr. James Franklin Jackson, 83, passed away Saturday August 19, 2023. He was born June 20, 1940, in Yadkin County to the late Harry and Mary Garris Jackson. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four sisters; Peggy Hayes, Elizebeth Blevens, Shirley Fausdal, and Brenda Freeman. James is survived by his three children; Jeffery Jackson, Dwayne Jackson, and Paula Creticos, five grandchildren; Karl Jackson, Todd Jackson, Amanda Dickens (Shane), Dylan Jackson, and Mackenzie Jackson, two great-grandchildren; Kaitlin Jones and Sara Jones, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral Service will be conducted 2:00PM Friday August 25, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC. The family will receive friends for one hour before the service beginning at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
