James Eaton

James Franklin Eaton, 70, of Kernersville, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his residence. James was born on November 20, 1948 in Forsyth County, NC to the late James Franklin Otis and Hazel Nelson Eaton.

James is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Laura Eaton of the home; one son,  James Eaton, Jr; three daughters, Melissa Eaton, Tammy Eaton, and Kristy Galvan; four grandchildren, Chris Eaton (wife, Asher), Patrick Eaton, Salvador Galvan, and Elijah Eaton; one great grandchild, Brayden Eaton; and three siblings, Vi Batton (husband, Bob), Roger Eaton, and William Eaton (Jeannie).

A funeral service for James will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Roy Martin and Rev. Roger Bailey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the funeral home.
