James Chamberlain

MOCKSVILLE - Mr. James Roger Chamberlain, 92, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 at Gordon Hospice of Statesville. Roger was born on September 26, 1925 in Yadkin County. He served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater and in Japan. Roger was retired from Ingersoll Rand and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Roger was a gentle man with a kind spirit. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Julia James Chamberlain and a brother, Julian "Bud" Chamberlain. Surviving are a cousin, Frances Cartner; as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Wayne Swisher officiating.
