James Larry Burton

Mr. James Larry Burton, 78, of Advance passed away Monday February 15, 2016 at his home. He was born March 16, 1937 in Forsyth County to Leroy and Gertrude Pegram Burton. Surviving is his wife Betty Burton; four sons, Jimmy, Kenny, David and Jeff; a daughter, Pam Holcomb; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two brothers, Leroy, Jr. and Wayne. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Dr. Chuck Baker officiating. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
