James E. Brock

Mr. James E. Brock, 85, of Clearwater, FL passed away March 14, 2012. He was born in Winston-Salem to J. Hugh and Nannie Sue Laird Brock. He was a retired Electrical Engineer with GTE and a member of St. Matthias Lutheran Church. Mr. Brock was a Veteran in the United States Army and a member of the Farmington Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and a Shriner. He enjoyed genealogy and working on cars. Preceding him in death were his parents and a grandson. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jessie; his daughter, Joan (Dale) Moe; his son, John (Marianne) Brock; his sisters, Mary West and Emma Sue Allen; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, March 19 at 11 am at St. Matthias Lutheran Church in Florida. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Farmington Community Cemetery.
