Mr. James Frederick Beck, 82, passed away Sunday July 30, 2023. He was born June 15, 1941, in Forsyth County to the late Emma Grubbs Beck and Albert Isaiah Beck. Mr. Beck was a good neighbor and wonderful friend. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and workshop where he created gifts for others. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shelby Blackburn Beck, two brothers, Aldeen, and O’dell Beck, one sister, Barbara Roop, and a granddaughter, Kymberly Beck. He is survived by one daughter, Khristina Jordan (Ricky); one son, Michael Beck; five grandchildren: Shannon Beck, Zakary Jordan, Clayton Jordan, Nickolas Jordan, and Matthew Beck, and a great-grandson; Gabriel Isaiah Murphy. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday August 2, 2023, at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday August 1, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
