James Ashe, Jr.

Mr. James Henry Ashe, Jr., 81, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at his home. He was born September 14, 1928 in Forsyth County to James Henry and Elma Lyerly Ashe. Mr. Ashe attended N.C. State University and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army, Tank Company and was a retired builder. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Nancy Norrell Ashe of the home; a sister, Margy M. Polley; an aunt, Joan Jessup; brother-in-law, James Norrell and wife, Peggy; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Walker officiating.( Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com )
