James Peter Andrews

Mr. James Andrews, age 72 passed away Friday May 4, 2012 at Salem Terrace in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born December 31, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Peter and Palma Andrews. Jim was an engineer who held patents for equipment in the food and beverage as well as the medical industry. He had a lifelong passion for western movies and fast cars. He is survived by his wife, Joan Andrews, his son, Peter Andrews and wife Gretchen, his daughter, Josie Scavone and husband Mike and three grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Andrews and Evan Scavone. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church by Father Steve Hoyt. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
