Ms. Jacquelyn Anne Small passed away Thursday evening at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on May 24, 1947 in Forsyth County to the late Thomas and Jeanne West Small. Anne was a member at Crews United Methodist Church, financial secretary for the church, and former choir member too. She retired from Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools as a teacher at Griffith Elementary with 30 years of service. Following her retirement, Anne volunteered at South Fork Elementary School. She is survived by cousins Stuart French, Gary Troutt of Walkertown, and other cousins that live out of state. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM Monday October 18 at Crews United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Crady and Rev. Wanda Ogden officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow the burial in the church Fellowship Hall. Anyone may come to view Ms. Small at anytime Saturday or Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, or one hour prior to the service Monday at Crews United Methodist Church.
