Jacqueline Mae Wright Cleary, 86, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Summerstone Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born to the late Lee Jackson Wright and Zula Mae Yountz Wright on July 8, 1938, in Forsyth County.
Jacqueline devoted her life to taking care of others as an at home healthcare aide. She was a dedicated NASCAR lover alongside her husband and family. Jacqueline was a lover of the beach, the color purple and the song Mustang Sally. “Mawmaw Jackie” will forever be remembered as the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother to her family. The sweet memories she left behind will be cherished by all those who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Franklin Cleary; grandson, Jimmy Horton, Jr.; and great-grandson, Austin Anthony Horton.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie Wright (Ruth), Teresa Horton (James), and Roxanne Bradley; grandchildren, Heather Bugett (Andre), Amanda Florido (Sage), Frankie Lee Bradley, Jr., Kristopher James Bradley, Robert Daniel Bradley, and Danielle Leeann Blackburn (Chris); 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
