Jacqueline Baldwin

Jacqueline “Jackie” Baldwin unexpectedly left her earthly home to be with Jesus in the early morning hours of March 31, 2020 at Westchester Manor nursing home. She was a sweet soul who stole the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. She was born in Beaufort, NC to her parents Curby Frank and Lanta Marie Stafford Baldwin. She is preceded in death by both parents and her two brothers Charles and Clyde (Betty) Baldwin, as well as her great niece Jacy Bleu Swaim and great nephew Trey Swaim. She has left behind one brother, Curby Frank Baldwin Jr. and sister Josephine Marie Baldwin Tilley as well as her caregiving niece of many years Amy Jo Tilley Morgan, nieces Jeanie Carole Swaim Thomas, Shiela Baldwin, and Gay Baldwin, and nephews James Richard Swaim Jr., Kenneth (Paula) Baldwin, and Kieth Baldwin. She also left behind special great nieces Miranda Morgan and Destiny Law, and great nephews Levi Morgan and Vann (Reagan) Swaim.

Jackie was born mentally disabled but that never slowed her down. She kept busy with her crafts over the years and cooking some of the best meals her family has ever eaten. She played a key role in raising her nieces and nephew, as well as great niece and nephew. She was the light in the family and could never be replaced. She loved collecting jewelry and anything prissy! Her nails were always painted topped with a ring on every finger. Through her years of life caring for all of her family and friends, she taught everyone what is truly important in life - and that is loving and depending on our Savior Jesus! There is no doubt she is now looking down on us from Heaven, and everyone is looking forward to the day we can wrap our arms around her again. The family wishes to add an extra thanks to Theresa “Lisa” Swink and Debbie “Betty” Kart for their awesome caregiving in Jackie’s last years of life.

The family wishes we could have an amazing celebration of life for Miss Jackie but due to the coronavirus, we cannot do it at this time. After everything is settled in the world, we would love to invite everyone that loved her to the graveside and remember her as she deserves, we will keep everyone updated, thank you for understanding. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Baldwin family.
