Jacqueline Ann Dosher Pope

Mrs. Jacqueline Ann Dosher Pope, 88, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 13, 1936, in Brunswick County, the daughter of Jennings Bryan and Rhoda Woodrow Walton Dosher. She was a member of Glenn View Baptist Church since 1955 serving her church as a secretary, teaching Sunday School and working in the Nursery. Ann retired after over 20 years of service from Larry Matthews, C.P.A. and enjoyed playing the piano, cooking and watching Hallmark movies. She was devoted to her family and her church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy S. Pope; a son, Tim Pope and two infant siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Renee Goodwin (Bill) of Zebulon; a daughter-in-law, Becky Pope of Boonville; two grandchildren, Amy Shore (JR) of Boonville and Bryan Pope (Angela) of Kernersville; five great grandchildren, Jordan Shore (Tailynn), Juleigh Shore, Drew Pope, Nick Pope and Abbi Pope; a brother, Clive Dosher; two sisters, Carolyn Price and Paulette Brown and many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, February 14, 2025, at Glenn View Baptist Church with Rev. Dominic Immordino officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice La., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Glenn View Baptist Church, 4275 Glenn Hi Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
