KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Jacob Allen Line, 27, died April 17, 2014 while fishing, one of his favorite pastimes. He was born on March 12, 1987 in Forsyth County to Douglas and Lois Line. Jacob attended Robert B. Glenn High School and ultimately received his diploma from Brittan Academy. He was employed at Preferred Concrete Finishers and was a member of First Christian Church in Kernersville.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Douglas and Lois, as well as his brother, Jordan Aarron Line, all of the home; and his grandparents, Donald and Nancy Hughes of Kernersville and David and Thelma Line of Carlisle, PA. Jacob also leaves behind six loving aunts and uncles, Sherri Line-Bongiovani of Carlisle, PA, David and Brenda Line of Newville, PA, Daniel and Lara Line of Wake Forest NC, and Dawna Compton of Kernersville; six special cousins, Jason Martin (Christina) of Richmond, VA, Alexa Line of Newville, PA, Emily Line of Carlisle PA, Adrienne Line of Newville, PA, Jonah Compton of Kernersville and Benjamin Line of Wake Forest, NC. Jacob had many special friends that he loved who will miss him greatly.
A Celebration of Jacob's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at First Christian Church in Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at First Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support future search and rescue operations at Stokes County, Attn: Emergency Management Search and Rescue Fund, P O Box 20, Danbury, NC 27016.
