Jacob Edwin Kratzer

Jacob Edwin Kratzer, 2, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, March 25, 2013 while surrounded by his loving family. Jacob was born on December 26, 2010 in Harris County, Texas to Russell and Tiffany Kratzer. Jacob loved life and brought joy to everyone who met him. Among the things he enjoyed most were playing basketball with Daddy, spending quality time with Mommy and going to Nana's beach with his brother Colin. He also loved fire trucks and fireman Sam. Jacob is survived by his parents, Russell Kratzer and Tiffany Kratzer of Winston-Salem; twin brother Colin Joseph; Grandmother Susan Schaible of Topsail Beach, NC; Grandfather Victor Kratzer of Charlotte, NC; Grandfather Daniel Schaible of Maryland; Aunt Sarah Kratzer-Stollmack of Atlanta, GA; Uncle Damian Schaible of New York, NY; Cousins Katie and Maggie Stollmack of Atlanta, GA; Cousins William and Elizabeth Schaible of New York, NY. The family will have a private memorial service on the afternoon of Thursday, March 28, 2013, followed by a public reception at 3 PM at Knollwood Baptist Church, 330 Knollwood St., Winston-Salem, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Brenner Children's Hospital, Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
