Jackie Eugene McDonald passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008. He was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on August 11, 1943 to Virginia and Jack McDonald. He served his country in the Army & later with the Winston-Salem Police department from 1967 until his retirement in 1988. He was a proud member of GWRRA NC-B2-Winston Wings. After living in Winston-Salem for over 40 years, he moved to Kernersville to be closer to his mother. He is preceded in death by his father Jack McDonald. He is survived by his mother, Virginia ""Jenny"" McDonald, his brother and sister-in-law Ronnie & Carolyn McDonald, his sister Gina Taylor, four sons and their wives, Todd & Marian McDonald, Scott & Tina McDonald, Tim & Jenn McDonald, Chris & Jade McDonald and many cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC from 1pm-3pm, Sunday, October 12, 2008. A memorial service will follow at 3pm.
