Mr. Jack Lloyd Stutts, 85, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015.
Jack was born September 3, 1929 to the late Ferry Stutts and Nellie Newman Stutts. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was retired as a mechanic from RJ Reynolds. Jack was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed propagating his muscadine vines. He also enjoyed surf fishing along with the love of his life, wife Sue. He was a member of Hopewell Moravian Church. Jack will be fondly remembered as a hard-working family man, who loved his family, friends, and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and her husband, Helen and Gilbert Davis and brother, Dennis Stutts.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Sue Waddell Stutts; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Melissa Stutts; grandchildren, Whitney Stutts, Lauren Stutts, and their mom Debbie Stutts, and Erika Khalil; sister-in-law, Judy Stutts; nephew, Darrell Davis; nieces, Karen Key, Sharon Graham, and Cindy Weisner; and many other precious family members.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Hopewell Moravian Church.
