Jack Roberts

Mr. Jack Leo Roberts "Papa Jack", 88, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born August 29, 1929 in Stokes County to the late Nathaniel Abraham Roberts and Myrtha Elizabeth Cox Roberts. Jack retired from R.J. Reynolds as a truck driver with 30 years of service. His infectious smile and fun personality made him loved by many and in turn he freely gave his love to many. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his son, Randy Leo Roberts. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Morah "Mo" Jackson Roberts; two daughters, J Diane Roberts and Cindy Davis (Randy); his daughter-in-law, Sandra Roberts; four grandchildren: Elizabeth Frye (Nick), Reid Davis (Erin), Melissa Myers (Mike) and Richie Roberts (Teresa); seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Alton Roberts and Wimp Roberts (Sarah). The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
