Jack O'Brien

Mr. Jack Bergman O’Brien, 83, passed away on September 7, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on November 24, 1938, to Fred S. O’Brien and Elizabeth Bergman O’Brien in Forsyth County. Following graduation from R. J. Reynolds High School, Jack served in the United States Marine Corps. An avid fan of foreign and vintage sports cars, he enjoyed participating in the activities of the Corsa Rossa Car Club. Jack was outgoing and caring; the kind of person who would do anything to help anybody. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Strickland O’Brien. Surviving are his children, Shawn O’Brien (Julie), Tracy Burns (Mark), and Lee O’Brien (Tiffany); grandchildren, Tanner O’Brien, Haley Burns, and Brittany B. Feagan (Dylan); and great grandchildren, Coleman and Calleigh. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
