Jack Bumgardner, Jr.

Jack Preston Bumgardner, Jr. passed away on December 30, 2021. He was born in Forsyth County on March 24, 1946, to the late Jack P. Bumgarnder, Sr. and Virginia Fulp Bumgardner. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam. Jack retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco at the age of 55. He had a lot of collectibles and loved working on different little objects. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Pool; grandmother, Nell Jones Fulp and his favorite uncle, Gene Fulp. Jack is survived by his daughter, Sarah Albritton; grandchildren, Layla Albritton; Chloe Pool and her father, Josh Pool; sister, Kathryn V. Bumgardner; his loving aunt, Lenna Fulp; his friends, Carl, Gloria, SSgt Charlene, and many others. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Forsyth Memorial Park with Laila Harris offering the Prayer of Ascension.
