Ivan Davis

Stokesdale - Mr. Ivan ""Poppy"" Davis, 85, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born in LaGrange, Georgia July 26, 1927 to the late Charlie and Amelia Smith Davis. In addition to his parents Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a daughter Jan. Surviving are his wife Shirley Vanderburg Davis of the home, four sons, Ricky and wife Cindy, Barry and wife Krista, Sherrill and wife Robyn all of Kernersville, Fuzzy and wife Ronda of Stokesdale, three daughters, Barb and husband Dan of Macomb, Michigan, Jackie Jones of Kirksey, Kentucky and Darlene of La Grange, Ga., eighteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 4:00PM Monday February 25, 2013 at First Christian Church in Kernersville with the Rev Pete Kunkle officiating.
